Culver City Restaurants Join Dine LA
The event featuring special meal deals at hundreds of Los Angeles restaurants runs through this Friday
There are only four days left to take part and enjoy special deals and meals from some of Los Angeles County’s best restaurants.
More than 450 restaurants are offering great deals to diners in the county during the 2025 Summer Dine LA Restaurant Week from July 25 to August 8. Dine LA is a biannual event that promises an opportunity to explore over 30 different cuisines with a prix fixe, or special set menu with a fixed price at various restaurants.
Produced by the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board to encourage restaurant business and tourism, Dine LA has grown considerably since its inception in 2008 with about 140 restaurants. According to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, 80 new restaurants are joining this year, bringing the total participating to 480 restaurants across 88 neighborhoods — making this Dine LA the largest one yet.
With 26 Michelin Star restaurants as of 2025 and an innumerable amount of cuisines in Los Angeles, the county has become one of the major hotspots to visit when looking to experience food and culture. Among the participants in Dine LA are 14 locations in Culver City, where patrons can find a varied selection of food from authentic hearty French favorites to high quality wood-smoked meats and barbeque.
Here is a look at five local restaurants participating in Dine LA:
Meet in Paris
In the heart of Downtown Culver City at 9727 Culver Blvd., Meet in Paris Restaurant & Lounge offers classic French comfort food. Their outdoor seating by the sidewalks and surrounded by other shops and restaurants provides the feel of a more walkable European location and authentic French experience.
Their lunch menu, which costs $25 per person, includes favorites like their French Onion Soup and Croque Monsieur, as well as desserts like profiterole — a dough filled with caramel ice cream and dark chocolate sauce.
The dinner menu offers an appetizer, main course, and a dessert for $45 per person. Classics like Boeuf Bourguignon and the popular Moule Frites made it onto the dinner menu.
Maple Block Meat Co.
Maple Block Meat Company, located at 3973 Sepulveda Blvd. between Venice Boulevard and Washington Place, serves meats like briskets, steaks, pork, tri-tips, and more. Honoring their American barbeque roots, Maple Block Meat boasts an authentic approach to their wood-smoke meats.
The barbeque joint is used to changing up their menus for special events. On top of participating in wider scale events like Dine LA, Maple Block hosts its own themed events like Taco Tuesdays and monthly Steak and Martini nights.
For their participation in the 2025 Summer edition of Dine LA, they’ve curated a set menu for both lunch and dinner. Their lunch includes a choice of Santa Fe Chicken Salad or Tri-Tip Sandwich for $15 per person. Their dinner menu offers a larger selection with a choice of meat, a side along with other fixings for $35 per person.
Butterfly Taco
Located at 8801 Washington Blvd. on the rooftop of The Shay Hotel, Butterfly Taco serves food from all over Mexico while offering views of the city. This restaurant is part of the José Andrés Group, headed by José Andrés — a renowned Spanish chef, an internationally recognized culinary innovator, author, Emmy-winning television personality, and humanitarian.
The Butterfly Taco is inspired by Andrés’ restaurant Oyamel in DC and New York, which refers to the Oyamel trees that monarch butterflies settle on after their migration south to Mexico in the winter months. The rooftop location of the Butterfly lends an extra element to the migratory experience modelled after the monarch butterfly’s journey.
The Butterfly offers a choice of appetizers, ceviches, tacos, and desserts for $25 per person on both their lunch and dinner prix fixe menu. Familiar dishes like the Coctel Costeño, Carnita Tacos, and Tres Leches are featured.
Carasau Ristorante
Carasau is an Italian restaurant that specializes in Sardinian food. Located at 3918 Van Buren Pl., close to the Culver Theater, this restaurant offers authentic Italian pizzas and pastas as well as traditional Sardinian dishes.
This restaurant was founded by Vincenzo Porcu, a native of Sinnai — a small town in the mountains on the southern part of the island of Sardinia, Italy. Porcu decided to move to Los Angeles after a visit in 2005, eventually opening up his own Sardinian restaurant. Carasau’s menu features many Sardinian traditional recipes by Porcu.
Their Dine LA prix fixe menu includes a three course meal with appetizers, a main course, and a dessert for $55 per person. These include the Sardinian dishes Fregola Salad and Fregola Mediterranean as well as other favorites like Ravioli allo Zafferano.
Mayura
Mayura is a family run Indian restaurant at 10406 Venice Blvd. that specializes in South Indian homestyle meals. Mayura, which had been featured in the Michelin Guide from 2019 to 2023, focuses on food from Kerala, receiving acknowledgement from the late distinguished food critic Jonathan Gold.
Mayura is the Sanskrit word for peacock, an animal that is considered a symbol of elegance and grace — qualities that the restaurant strives to exemplify. Using traditional recipes that have been refined for over thousands of years, they serve authentic food from Kerala, an Indian state that runs along the southwest coast.
Their Dine LA menu includes an appetizer, main course, breads, drinks, and a dessert for $75 per two people, or $37.50 per person. Their main course features familiar dishes like their Aloo Gobi, and Chicken Tikka Masala, and their highly praised Fish Curry.
