Culver City to welcome students from Iksan, South Korea
The public is invited to a welcome Event on October 11 and the City Council Meeting on October 13 to recognize students from one of Culver City's Sister Cities

The Culver City Sister City Committee (CCSCC), in partnership with the City of Culver City (CC), will welcome a delegation of five college-aged students and a delegation leader from Iksan City (Iksan), South Korea, for a weeklong cultural and educational program from Sunday, October 11, through Saturday, October 17.
The visit will provide the students with an opportunity to learn more about Culver City's history, culture, educational institutions, and community. The delegation will meet the mayor and City Council members and be officially recognized at Culver City Hall, located at 9770 Culver Blvd., and visit several local sites and points of interest, including the CC Historical Society, the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, and locations throughout the city.
A highlight of the delegation's visit will be the Higher Education & Workforce Development Showcase, hosted by West Los Angeles College (WLAC) on Wednesday, October 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This dynamic event will spotlight technical education pathways and community partnerships.
Featured speakers include the WLAC President, leaders from the WLAC Workforce Development and Culver City Economic Development initiatives, and Los Angeles City College presenting their Korean Language program.
